Child safety standards
Last updated 22 October 2026
Fistbump (the website app.fistbump.world and the app “Fistbump: Meet Builders” on iPhone and Android) helps adult builders who know each other from X meet in person. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind.
Adults only
- Fistbump is only for people aged 18 or over. Our terms say so, and we remove anyone who is not.
- Everyone signs in with their own X account. There are no anonymous accounts, and every member is approved by hand by the Fistbump team before they can see or contact anyone.
- Members can only write to each other after both agree to meet, and meeting photos stay private to the two people who met unless both choose to show them.
What is not allowed
On Fistbump, and towards anyone met through Fistbump, it is forbidden to:
- share, request or link to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind;
- sexualise minors in text, images or any other way;
- groom, contact or arrange to meet a minor;
- threaten or pressure anyone with intimate images (sextortion);
- take part in or promote the trafficking or exploitation of children.
What we do
- We review every report. Reports about child safety come first, normally within 24 hours.
- We remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- We keep the evidence that the law requires us to keep, and nothing more.
- We report child sexual abuse material and suspected abuse to the authorities: the police in Germany (including the Bundeskriminalamt) and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). We cooperate with law enforcement requests.
How to report a concern
- In the app: open the person’s profile, tap Report and tell us what happened. You can also Block them so they can no longer see or contact you.
- By email: founder@skatalystai.com, whether or not you have a Fistbump account.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (112 in Europe, 911 in the US) first.
